The multiverse was created by The Old Ones, creatures that it knows nothing about, the only record of this "Civilization" are the legends shown in the Vetirent dimension archive but since the Vetirent are extinct right now, they are a mystery ready to be solved in the future.
The most advanced civilization in the known multiverse (It should be noted that the known Multiverse is by the Vetirent's and we do not know if there are other Civilizations more advanced than them) First contact with this Civilization Dimension was during the great release.
Also known as the Release of Madness, are the series of events that led to the extinction of the Vetirents, causing the number of portals to the different dimensions to become unstable, breaking the Villintirius in the process, and spreading havoc on the multiverse.

The walls of the multiverse start to crack open, each dimension starts to invade other reality and everything is in chaos, nothing will be the same for the multiverse and since the Vetirent are no were to be found, there is no way to resolve this issue, all the Villintirius failproof systems have failed making it impossible to recover from this, the multiverse is doom.
